The public seem to think one thing is right, and our elite think quite the opposite, mind you our elites are not really interested in other opinions, they think its all about listening, and not hearing.

I wonder how long this dislocation can go on without serious consequenses?

Dr Bari: Government stoking Muslim tension, From todays DT.

But he thinks its OK to tell the publishers what to publish! Pulping and burning books really is something the Nazis did. If so called leaders of the Muslim community cannot understand the culture and respect and integrate into the country they live in, what chance have we with the rest of them?

It seems our fears are very well founded.

Osama Moves to the "Left"

There has been a lot of blog and media chatter this week on the content of OBL's latest rant from his cave, and his apparent embrace of "leftist" language, Personally I wonder where people have been these past few years? in a cave?

The Islamist Ideological seed is from the same source as both, National and State Socialism, the Muslim Brotherhood. Its founder ideologue Sayyid Qutb, was influenced by the politics of Europe, who's academics at the time, (1920s and 1930s) where arguing about which form of Socialism was the correct one, National or State.

In essence, the Islamists are claiming the same things as the Communists and National Socialists, the the formers case, the communists claimed special rights for "workers" as they possessed a special unique knowledge of historic destiny revealed to them through Marx, the Nazis, or National Socialist claimed the same thing, special rights for a Master race, instead of a "Master" class. What the Islamists are claiming is the same, Special rights for a "special" knowledge of revelation, for a "special" people.

You don't have to dig very much in our own history to find just how dangerous these types of beliefs can be.

Jihad on the Estate

Its funny how the Islamists have worked out the great "tax fund my opinion" game. They have been watching the leftoids very carefully. And they are quick learners.
